Object of desire – Netzhocker
I created this object in 3ds Max. For the renderengine I used V-Ray. I took me about 12 hours. I tried different things with splines and texture maps. I ended up using the polymodeling tool and I used a texture to create the look of a fence with an alpha kanal.
Besides all the commercial projects and rebuldings for my part, it was time to figure out a way to make it possible for everybody to rebuild things like that. “Dan Plearlman” created the Objects of desire (OODs) for that matter. No barrier and no guidelines deflect the ideas of developing those objects. The ideas are coming up spontaneously, fast and also without a claim of perfection and functionality.
